Went here during a work trip and the Capital burger is one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. So good! The meat was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The portions were huge and I couldn't finish all of the fries that came with the burger but I did finish the burger. Newbury street is a gorgeous part of Boston. Beautiful buildings which made the ambiance next level. Service was adequate. Our server didn't write down our orders and a couple people in our group had errors in their meals. Highly recommend!

DON'T GO HERE! You'll be so stuffed full of delicious food, you'll need to be carried home. We got burgers, fries, milkshakes, and the soft pretzel. Every single thing was fantastic. The PB&J milkshake was a surprising treat. The burgers were cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy and hot on the outside and delightfully fluffy on the inside. Our server at an outdoor table was friendly and helpful. They also accommodated allergies and requests without issue. The outdoor patio is busy with both foot traffic and restaurant patrons but is also separated from the noisy street. Great for people watching. If they had heat lamps, I'd literally go in the middle of winter.

Stopped in here after a long flight before driving west. The parking is a bit of a challenge, but was lucky it was a Sunday and the meters aren't monitored on Sundays. The atmosphere is quite nice and upscale feeling. The service was very slow. Now for the food; the capital burger was fantastic and the fries were pretty good too. All-in-all a good meal.

A classy place for a nicer lunch or dinner! Ordered the Capital Burger (5/5, high quality burger patty and ingredients done well) and the Seared Salmon Salad (3.5/5, too much dressing on it made it feel super sweet but salmon and idea was done well). Pretty good spot!

This place has great burgers that are cooked perfectly to order in so many varieties. It is also wonderful that you can pick from different side dishes, instead of standard fries like some other places. I got a mushroom burger with cesear salad, and enjoyed it very much. They also have boozy milk shapes that I might try next time. Our server was very nice and helpful. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

We walked in around 1:30 on a Saturday and we were sat right away. Our server was very attentive. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside near the bar area. We order the capital burger and the one with bleu cheese. Both were amazing.

First time trying out this restaurant. There are so many choices and places to eat in Boston!!! Jacob was our server. He was kind and attentive. I ordered the following... The Capital Burger French-Onion Style: Caramelized Onions, Wisconsin Grand Cru Gruy-re, Shallot Aioli Added Bacon and fried egg Side smoked Gouda fries for an additional charge While I was waiting for my meal Jacob brought out some of their butter pickles. They were yummy. The burger was delicious. I loved the presentation too. Adding the egg and bacon took the burger to another level. I would definitely order it again. The fries on the other hand were ok. I felt like with my heightened burger, the fries would have been better plain. Thank you for the great experience!

I've seen Capital Burger a hundred times while walking on Newbury and now I finally went in for a dinner with some friends. The interior was sweet! Usually there can be pretty small real estate on Newbury Street for any type of storefront, and when you walk in there's a hostess, a few high tables directly behind the hostess desk, and a big bar directly to the left with huge flat screens. When we were getting brought to our seats, we ended up walking upstairs to a second floor. The second floor is so cute! Lots of Boston and Boston Marathon wall art, dark wood interior, big windows overlooking Newbury, it's a great vibe. Our service was pretty slow but that just meant for a more relaxed, chill, hangout approach to dinner. It's better than feeling rushed outta there so we'll take it! Our server was wicked nice too. :) Everyone ordered a burger with fries and we all liked it. The patty is very thick and chewy here and it wasn't really juicy. The fries were great and our drinks were made well. Highly recommend trying the margarita, pursuit of happiness, or blackberry smash for drinks!
